beCause: A Beneficiary Gig in support of HealthServe will be Melodrumatic's debut event on December 2, 2016.

The night will feature Singapore's folk, blues, soul and funk musicians as they perform their original music and take on classics by the likes of Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye and of course, the Godfather James Brown.


All for a good cause, this beneficiary gig is a non for profit initiative in support of Healthserve - A non profit organization dedicated to providing healing and hope to migrant workers.

So put your best groovy foot forward and come over for a night of jams and sexy licks on December 2, Friday. 7:00pm.

A sound that evokes distant memories served up with an infusion of the old and new – independent-soul singer-songwriter Dru Chen delivers melodic odes to the inner audiophile in all of us. Shak & the Baits

Shak'thiya, better known as Shak, is a homegrown singer-songwriter who wants nothing more than to make good music. He has played at several open mic events in Singapore, and his music is influenced by various genres ranging from the blues to bossa nova, hip hop and folk.

An emerging recording artist and performer embarking on a musical journey, armed with a bass guitar, a loop pedal, some soul-jazz-pop singles. bittymacbeth's songs reflect the challenge of trying to be better and to overcome affliction making her one of the best songwriters today.

Founded in 2006 on Christian values, HealthServe seeks to meet the needs of the migrant workers in our community through the provision of medical care, counseling, case work, social assistance, and other support services. Over the years, they have developed partnerships with regulatory authorities, agencies, schools and corporate organisations to initiate public health awareness programs and research projects.
